Hello, I am Richard Kniffin, President of Aquaventures Inc.

 

I formed Aquaventures in 1993 for the purpose of vessel management and maintenance. At this time I was a research vessel captain, but had a following of yacht owners that depended on me to maintain their vessels. Over the years I have built many strong relationships with owners, shipyards and vendors. My background began with diving,  both pleasure and commercial, and over the years expanded into yacht and vessel management, brokerage and International Safety Management  (ISM) . I have been a USCG licensed captain for over 39 years and currently hold a USCG 500GRT/3000GT/Oceans license. I am also a NAUI Dive Instructor. I graduated from the University of Miami in 2011 with a BA in Marine Affairs while UM Director of Marine Operations. My professional career has been oriented around ships, yachts and diving.

 

I am focused on bringing the very latest and best products to the maritime market with special emphasis on maritime safety.
